If the information on this site helps you and you’d like to make a donation to The Silver People Heritage Foundation, please use one of the options below.

Why donate?

We, at The Silver People Heritage Foundation, are spending a great deal of our time and resources directly working to rescue the cultural heritage as well as the unique ancestral burial grounds of the Silver People of Panama.

We urgently need help to keep our Foundation going including web fees, internet service fees, electric bills, phone bills, mailing costs, legal fees and  costs related to the Foundation’s historical and vital document search services.  We are also embarking on speaking engagements and presentations aimed at groups in Panama as well as overseas audiences.

We are conducting continual fund raising campaigns to develop our cultural programs and to secure the “perpetual care” our target heritage cemeteries need and to help our cultural activities take root.

We are continually working to meet the higher needs of heritage preservation.  If you want to support our work and our cultural mission, please make a contribution. Any amount over $50.00 is appreciated.

To send donations via cashier’s check or international money order (no U.S. postal  money orders please or personal checks) use the following mailing address:

  • My most appreciated Gloria,
Your request is being worked on and we will contact you as soon as we can get the reports in from some of our sources.
Please be patient with us, as our country of Panama is going through some major changes and travelling is a grave risk. However our continued research into our past is the main part of our purpose.
I was very happy to have heard from you, plese don not be shy in asking us to be of service to you in this respect.

    With the best of regards,

    CRR

  • In putting the final touches on my new website I was delighted to come across the “Silver People Heritage”. As I don’t need to tell you this is a disgracefully ignored story from history. Although Panama Fever: Digging Down Gold Mountain deals exclusively with the French period I have a sequel on the way that will shine an unapologetic light on the American effort and the heroism of our fellow West Indians.

I will be sending you a donation via my publisher and have to linked your page on my website. I will definitely alert folks to your commendable work when I speak about the novel.

Thanks and kudos to you, sir, for all that you do.

    • Mr. Garvey,

Thank you for stopping by our Heritage page and, yes, our original motive for starting all this was to shed light on the “disgracefully ignored” subject of our forefathers and their important participation in the building of the Panama Canal. We will be looking forward to reading your new book as well as our readers. All the best of luck in finishing your sequel also. Please do keep us updated on your progress.

Again, thank you for your comment and for the donation.

      Best regards,

      RR
